Who drew whom? That stays a secret until the very end.

No. Only the Wichtel knows who they drew, until the reveal. HR sees who has joined and numbers like «78% completed the questionnaire». At the reveal you decide whether pairs appear together on the big screen; anyone who prefers not to be on screen is revealed privately in the app.

About ten minutes: choose team size, set the date, pay, share the invite link. Rules and locations come pre-filled and can be changed later.

They take part fully. Remote people get their gift at home or digitally. People enter their own address; HR never sees it, and we delete it 14 days after delivery.

No. Most people bring their own gift; Wichtli sets the budget limit and shows what the Wichtelkind (your giftee) likes. Anyone who wants can order in the Wichtli shop using gift credit your company sets in advance. Unused credit is refunded 100% (no deduction) to the original payment method or by bank transfer, by 15 January 2027 at the latest.

We process it on your behalf (DPA in checkout). Stored in the EU (Cloudflare D1, EU jurisdiction); some providers are US-based, safeguarded by the Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. On 31 January we delete your participants' data automatically; backups expire at the latest 30 days later. Exceptions (invoices 10 years, reported messages 90 days, last year's pairs if you choose) are listed in the privacy policy. Ideally by 24 November, so everyone sees their Wichtelkind on the first Sunday of Advent. A December start works too: we shorten the schedule, and up to 16 December a reveal on 23 December is still possible. Printed items need 12 working days before the reveal.

Joining is voluntary. People who don't accept are not drawn. Declines are reported to nobody: your admins only see «joined» or «not joined», and participants can find fellow participants only by searching. At the draw we credit you for unused seats and those people's gift credit.

By card (Stripe Checkout) or, from CHF 200.00 / EUR 210.00, by invoice with 30 days to pay. We print your PO or reference number on the invoice; CHF invoices carry a Swiss QR-bill. You can download a quote as a PDF beforehand. Receipt in CHF or EUR to your company.

Yes. Paste a webhook and Wichtli posts the door of the day and deadlines to your channel, never names or pairs.

Every message can be reported and the sender blocked. We review only reported messages, and only the reported message. At the written request of your HR contact we name the sender in cases of harassment.

Until the invitations are sent: full refund. After that and until the draw: refund for everyone who has not joined. After the draw the flat fee and seats are not refundable. Gift credit is always refunded.
